Holiday Picnics are on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. Times are noon
till dusk.
Volleyball, cards and board games all day long. Bring a dish to share and your
own drinks.Beer is allowed in the shelter area.
We play outdoor sand volleyball Spring and Summer every Wednesday, weather
permitting, at Eastwood Lake Park in Riverside, OH. Times are 6:30 PM till dusk.

rafting trip on the New River
in West Virginia July, 2010 .The cost FOR 2010 is $150.00 per person (prepaid) & includes:
rafting; breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday; camping & taxes. Make sure to

four keynote speakers, all Old Lesbians who are long time community
activists committed to empowering Old
Lesbians.
Speakers will be

Margaret
Cruikshank, author of "Learning to be Old: Gbender, Culture, and
Aging";

Vera Martin,
a co-founder of OLOC and
noted
activist for social justice;
·
Sheila Ortiz
Taylor, who co-founded the Women’s Studies Program and taught
women’s literature at Florida State Universityand and is author of
"Faultline" featuring a Lesbian
Chicana;
·
"Jezz
(Marilyn) Jesmain, an archaeologist, and writer
whose native
heritage is Mohawk.
Alix Dobkin,
entertainer, speaker, songwriter and author of a pre-Lesbian memoir,
"My
Red Blood:
A Memoir
of Growing Up Communist, Coming Onto the Greenwich Village Folk
Scene, & Coming Out”
SW" will
lead our Saturday night celebration, which includes a dinner,
announcement
of the first
recipient of the Del Martin Old Lesbian Pride Award,
and a dance.
The
event will include workshops, speakouts, caucuses, the
movie, "Hannah Free", and
a Cleveland
cabaret of local entertainment.
